Welcome to the Green Mountain Association of Realtors®

In the fall of 2014, the Rutland County, Central Vermont and Northeast Kingdom Boards of Realtors® merged to form the Green Mountain Association of Realtors® (GMAR). This merger gives GMAR a stronger legislative voice and strengthens our role as an advocate for property owners at all levels of government.

GMAR’s mission is to deliver networking opportunities, a broad range of professional services, and a high quality educational program for our members. We are committed to serving our Realtor® and affiliate members, and to serving the communities in which we live and work.

If you have any questions about GMAR and its mission or if you are a Realtor®, affiliate business or consumer looking for real estate services, we hope that you will contact us. We look forward to serving you!

April 17, 2020 – Vermont Governor Phil Scott today outlined an approach for the phased restart of Vermont's economy. To begin to execute this strategy, the Governor today signed an addendum to Executive Order 01-20. The addendum institutes new health and safety requirements and provides guidance to some single-person low contact professional services, such as Realtors®, to operate if specified safety requirements can be met. The new order takes effect on Monday, April 20.

Services operating with a single worker (such as appraisers, Realtors®, municipal clerks, attorneys, property managers...) may resume operations so long as no more than 2 persons (service provider and client) are present at one time.

All businesses must follow Vermont Department of Health and CDC guidelines.
